Exploring Countries and Cultures 3rd Ed Teacher's Manual

Daily lesson plans are in an easy-to-use weekly chart format. Charts list each subject with page numbers of books to read and instructions for using Student Sheets. Many activities will be suitable for all ages; additional activities are suggested for older students. Many simple hands-on activities are included in the Teacher's Manual to reinforce the study of geography

Student pages are not included in the Teacher's Manual. You will need to purchase the Parent/Teacher Supplement and Student Sheets separately.

If you own an older edition of Exploring Countries and Cultures, consider upgrading to the current edition. The core of the program has not changed, but numerous books have been revised or replaced.

• In 2019, Window on the World released a new edition and the Book Basket list was updated.
• In 2022, Exploring Countries and Cultures 3^rd Edition was released.
  • The following resources were removed from the package: Maps and Globes, A Trip Around the World, Another Trip Around the World, and Wee Sing Around the World. Content is now included in the 3^rd Edition Teacher's Manual, Student Sheets, and Come to the Table.
  • Cameron Townsend was removed.
  • A World of Art replaced Global Art.
  • Complete Book of Animals is required for 2^nd/3^rd grade.
• In 2024, Samuel Morris replaced the read aloud David Livingstone and A World of Music was added to the package.

NOTE: Current 3^rd Edition Student Sheets are not compatible with older Teacher Manuals.
