World History and Literature Daily Lesson Plans

World History and Literature lesson plans are written to the student for parent-guided independent work. On Fridays, the student and parent have a conference to discuss the week's topics and review completed work. There are 36 weeks of lessons, five days a week, with a somewhat lighter schedule on most Fridays. You will need to add science, math, and electives such as foreign language.

If you own an older edition of World History & Literature, consider exchanging it for the current edition. The core of the program has not changed, but some books have been revised or removed.

• In 2014, Exploring World History (Notgrass) was revised. We highly recommend the new version, which is much more student-friendly due to many new color illustrations. The text has only minor changes, but In Their Words (included in the set) was greatly expanded.
• In 2022, Writer's INC was replaced with Write for College.
