50:20 Vision

20/20 vision is good. But there’s something much better. I pray that God would bless you with 50:20 vision. Let me explain.

We know that God is always love, and He can be trusted. Even when we experience difficult times, or people let us down, or it seems the enemy is pulling us down, we know that God is working for our good. “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28).

His fierce love for you means that He desires to bring greater things out of any difficult circumstance. In Genesis, we read how Joseph’s brothers almost killed him, and they sold him as a slave, but God had a plan. Joseph kept his heart tender to God, and God worked a miracle that brought life to many. In the 50th chapter and 20th verse of Genesis, Joseph shares the perspective that helped him live life fully. He had “50:20” vision. “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.”

Like Joseph, may you see with 50:20 vision – seeing yourself, others, and circumstances from God’s perspective.
