Print Jobs
Director of Accounting: A trustworthy and loyal person to oversee and manage the day-to-day financial operations and support staff of a rapidly growing, mid-sized company. In addition, the individual needs to provide leadership with strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, and forecasting needs.
Duties include:
- Managing cash flow—overseeing A/R and A/P, purchasing, and payroll activity.
- Overseeing account reconciliations, financial statements, and cash flow projections.
- Monitoring banking activity, including loans and lines of credit, as well as managing promissory notes and interest of other outside funding.
- Providing operating budgets for multiple inter-related companies with all their complexities.
- Managing and coordinating all fiscal reporting.
- Developing and maintaining fiscal safeguards.
- Overseeing all income tax and sales tax reporting.
- Overseeing business insurance plans and employee benefits coverage.
Abilities needed:
- Ability to document accounting policies and procedures, training staff as needed.

- Ability to learn MFW accounting software (S2K).

- Hold an active CPA and/or CMA designation.
- Have five years public accounting experience and a working knowledge of corporate tax law and GAAP requirements.

Field Service Engineer: Provide customer support by maintaining a variety of office equipment at My Father's World in Rolla MO. May be required to perform shop work for new set-ups and refurbish equipment. This will be joint position where the employer will actually be Corporate Business Systems in Springfield, MO though the location of service will be at My Father's World in Rolla, MO. Applicant for this position must satisfy requirements and application process of both My Father's World and Corporate Business Systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Consistent demonstration of CBS core beliefs and vision statement as well as the core beliefs and vision statement of My Father's World
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
- Inventory management skills with no more than a 2% variance.
- Accurate vehicle maintenance records and mileage reports.
- Accurately maintain and turn in paperwork in a timely manner.
- Manage territory in an organized and efficient manner.
- Ability to manage time properly.
- Meet appropriate productivity standards as assigned by manager.
- Attend and satisfactorily complete all required training both in the classroom and through self-pace.
- Demonstrate technical expertise on all CBS supported equipment, including installation, service, and customer training.
- Understand and utilize problem escalation procedure.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

General Manager: An experienced senior level manager to oversee all day-to-day operations of our rapidly growing mid-sized company, including interaction between departments, the development and governance of policies and procedures, managing of department directors, forecasting needs, setting goals, and working with MFW executive management.
Duties include:
- Managing the day-to day operations of MFW and ensuring that inter-department communication, functions, policies, and procedures are occurring efficiently and in a timely manner, implementing changes as necessary.
- Allocating the necessary resources and strategies to ensure that operations run smoothly.
- Screening, interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating managers and supervisors.
- Ensuring compliance with OSHA and other governmental regulatory bodies.
Abilities needed:
- Administration, analytical skills, decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
- Solid working knowledge of flow charts, cash flow, budgets, sales growth, business development, strategic planning, and goal setting.
- Leadership and the ability to work with and motivate people in an ever-changing business environment.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Effective multi-tasking within ever-changing seasonal dynamics.
Applicant must:
- Have a minimum of ten years of experience.

Marketing and Sales: An experienced individual to analyze and direct MFW marketing, branding, and advertising activities, as well as negotiate contracts with advertising venues, and assist in designing print and web ads. The individual must be able to help MFW meet outsourced print schedules and deadlines.
Duties include:
- Overseeing and leading the development of all MFW marketing activities, training and directing staff as needed.
- Overseeing the development and production of the MFW annual catalog and other print and web ads.
- Assisting in the development of MFW convention layout and displays.
- Assisting in the development and management of all advertising activities, including negotiating contracts and interfacing with advertisers.
- Leading in the development and writing of articles for publication and for the internet.
- Contributing to the development of the "look" of the MFW website and printed materials.
- Assisting in finding new markets.
Abilities needed:
- Leadership and the ability to work with and motivate people.
- Creativity and the ability to conceptualize others' ideas and input.
- Ability to conduct research and articulate findings.
- Familiarity with branding is a plus, but not a requirement.

Curriculum Consultant & Customer Service: Experienced MFW users to provide support in all facets of MFW customer service, including fielding office telephone calls, assessing and consulting customer curriculum needs, taking customer orders, attending and consulting at homeschool conventions, and other tasks as needed. Note: Dads who understand MFW curriculum or are willing to learn, and love to talk to and help people are especially encouraged to apply.
Duties include:
- Answering telephone calls and taking customer orders using MFW software.
- Effectively articulating MFW philosophies and providing answers to Frequently Asked Questions.
- Leading conversations quickly while consulting accurately about program placement and usage of MFW curriculum.
- General office support.
Abilities needed:
- Ability to engage people and lead conversations.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow, support, and enact procedures and philosophy.
Applicant must:
- Have used MFW curriculum for a minimum of two years and have a working knowledge of the scope and sequence of the curriculum.
- Desire to help people and have a heart for customer service.
- Be able and willing to travel to 8-15 homeschool conventions annually.
- Be familiar with data entry and basic computer usage.

God's Word for the Nations Director*: GWN is a non-profit organization that was started in 2003. The mission of GWN is to raise funds for Bible translation and distribution worldwide. GWN has grown considerably and is in need of a committed and motivated individual to manage and direct the organization as it interfaces with donors and Bible translation organizations.
Duties include:
- Overseeing and managing day-to-day operations, including financial oversight and donor management.
- Managing any volunteer or administrative personnel
- Compiling and managing a budget.
- Monitoring the timely distribution of monies to foreign banks and international organizations.
- Monitoring the website, updating and rotating special projects, and compiling data for new publications.
- Overseeing regular report writing for the Board of Directors and for Bible translation organizations.
- Overseeing monthly bank reconciliation, year-end reports, and issuing year-end giving reports to donors.
- Generating public speaking and fundraising opportunities.
- Developing marketing and public relations.
- Interfacing regularly with the GWN Board of Directors, donors, and Bible translation organizations.
- Developing agendas for and attend board meetings.
- Facilitating and implementing actions decided upon by the Board of Directors.
Abilities needed:
- Leadership and the ability to guide and motivate people, including donors, volunteers, and staff.
- Creativity, flexibility, trustworthiness, and discretion.
- Public speaking, public relations, and fundraising.

- Have a background in leading an organization. Experience with non-profits is a plus, but not required.
