Dear Friends, 

Thank you for choosing My Father's World curriculum!

As you may know, one of our reasons for starting My Father's World was to help fund Bible translation.  We (the Hazells) lived in Russia for eight years working for the Institute for Bible Translation (IBT) where we saw first hand many people groups with no Bible in their own language.

God’s Word is powerful and transforms lives, and that is why My Father's World is committed to Bible translation.  Even if missionaries are forced to leave a country, God’s Word remains to reach non-believers and strengthen believers.

We have established a ministry called God’s Word for the Nations.  Since 2003, My Father's World and our friends have given more than $400,000 for Bible translation.  This money has been given to the Institute for Bible Translation-Russia/CIS (instituteforbibletranslation.org).  We would like to summarize for you the incredible accomplishments of this organization over the last four years in the many languages of the former Soviet Union.

We want to give you and your children the privilege of being involved in this effort.  You may contact us to adopt a specific language project that you pray for and contribute to regularly.  Or you may give money for “the most urgent need.”  Your contributions and prayers are an important part of even greater progress in Bible translation for people groups in the former Soviet Union and beyond.  We send 100% of your contributions to projects; My Father's World pays for any stateside administrative needs.  Gifts are tax deductible; checks payable to God’s Word for the Nations may be sent to:  God’s Word for the Nations, P.O.
